The general rule is that generative AI is as a whole completely banned. Each category below has a basic guideline to help you decide whether or not something is allowed under these rules. If you fee what you want to use straddles the line, DM Artistimo | Chaos for clarification.

A tool should not take over the creative decisions of a work.
Cascadeur
It is a mildly more advanced rigging and animation suite, that achieves a mix of fk/ik functionality without removing control from the user. It is useful for the animation of bipedal rigs, and helping with secondary motion. Additionally works well for breaking baked animation back into keyframes. It does not at any stage take away artists choices, generate animation for the artist, replace creative decisions, or remove any control from the process whilst being completely deterministic in daily use.
The most controversial tool within Cascadeur in my eyes is the secondary motion slider. I will be consulting with you all to figure out if we should allow usage of the secondary motion slider, as it does generate some movement for the user (through exaggeration of existing inertia). I currently believe a case by case basis is necessary with the secondary motion slider, but do not currently believe it far enough away from rigs with baked in muscle physics and the like.
Optix and similar denoisers:
The purpose of denoisers is to clean up renders done within path-traced/ray-marched engines (also actual footage). They are broadly more accurate and faster than purely equation based denoisers. This does not make creative decisions. Whilst being machine learning algorithms, they are allowed. It is not generative in any fashion though it can smudge details at lower sample counts.
Spell/punctuation detectors
Please note that this does not include anything that does anything as much as writing a sentence for you. It is purely grammar/spelling rule verification allowed with these.
Voice to text
While Text to speech and text to image generators are both banned, dictation software is not. Some people within the server have injuries that prevent them from writing for long stretches, or give them pain when typing. Dictation software allows easier accessibility to the creative space of writing.
If anyone in the server happens to have experience with dictation software, please do share your experiences and recommendations for other server members. This sort of information is invaluable for a lot of people.
